I’ve desperately searched for you is what I would say…..but the way you look at me tells me you don’t believe me….

You raise your hands and yell at me…..begging me to look at the cuts that define our history….together….

but not one of those scars, not one of those wounds are mine….



you turn…..and there was a chest with both of our names on it….

you open it….in your hands was a heart…..a heart that kept beating….that kept bleeding….that kept creating love and recreating what love was but could not find the right formula….
